well I have a question for you, my friend. It's a difficult matter that we've been discussing here for some time now.
I'd like to know your opinion on: what is "female comics"???. How would you describe that. Is it comix created by women, or created for women?....  that would be helpful If you'd place this subject on bdparadisio.

Women are sometimes authors, writers or designers, but very seldom . (they are illustrators of books for children ). An other question in relationship is : are women or girls readers of comics ? Other question : are comics sexist ?
I don't know if women are different than men for the expression of their ideas . In France Marie-Mad is an author for child with animals and children and beautiful designs; Bretecher is an author for adults with some pornography and vulgarity and ugly designs. Same diversity between the men, no ?

Chodziło mi o niewielkie zainteresowanie komiksem sensacyjnym (tak mi się cosik zdaje, że ekspansja "błękitnych-blandy-lincoln-podejrzeń" tytułów, serwowanych przez nieocenione
TK przesyciła zapotrzebowanie na ten podgatunek w Polsce), za który uważałem Morane'a. Ot tyle

We have too much of those polar stories and that's why Sid claims that supernaturals are 'in'.

And besides, my oppinion is, here in Poland comic fans are more less the same people as SF fans. At least when it comes to buying albums...

And to clear things out, I don't necessarily state that Bob Morane is worse or something. I just say that Franch comics (which in genearal I am a follower of) should focus on it's typical flavour and not to pretend somethong they are not.

What on earth is a 'typical French flavor'? Main character named Jean Pierre drinking champagne and devouring frogs by dozens? Gee... Drunk or not, that was an ambiguous idea, to say the least

The problem is I'm quite perplexed with contemporary french mainstream comics and if this state is going to maintain I probably won't bother to read anything from it's scope. Maybe it's something like crisis, but maybe they're just not appropiate for average polish reader.

I still dwell on superiority of american-american stories for freanch-american stories, but whatever: I'm just not the target...

Nie? O, to szkoda, bo to naprawde swietna seriia, oto lista wszystkich tytulow:(...), koniecznie musicie je przeczytac!"

tak sie akurat sklada, ze mialem okazje zapoznac sie z kilkoma albumami z cyklu "Bob Morane", to dosyc dobra, mainsteamowa robota, taki klasyczny francuski komiks srodka, wielbiciele XIII byli by zachwyceni, jednak ja osobiscie musze w tym miejscu zadeklarowac sie po stronie Xionca, nie naleze do docelowej grupy czytelnikow w/w tytulu i nie podoba mi sie takie stawianie sprawy jak robi to Claude, szczegolnie, ze prawdopodobnie nie zna on wielu znacznie bardziej wartosciowych, rodzimych komiksow (jak komus sie chce to zapytajcie go o Moebiusa, Caze, Druilletta, deCrecy itd., zobaczymy kto ma czego zalowac), nie interesuja go zdaje sie rowniez polskie komiksy.
